James Headrick and Minerva "Stinson" Stephenson (1812-1877) were married in Blount County, Tennessee.  Early in their marriage they moved to the Walden's Creek community Southwest of Pigeon Forge in Sevier County, Tennessee.   U.S. census records indicate that they had five sons and five daughters.  One of the daughters, Mary Jane, married William Henry King.  Henry was a Union soldier in the Civil War.  Both James and Minerva are buried in Headrick's Chapel Cemetery.
